The Gospel in Brief

Leo Tolstoy’s own condensation of his harmony and translation of the four Gospels: the life and teaching of Jesus told as one account in twelve chapters, each carrying a line of the Lord’s Prayer.

The English text is the translation published by Thomas Y. Crowell & Co., New York, 1896 (translator not named; public domain), transcribed from the scan at the Internet Archive (cu31924029339078) with only the scan’s page apparatus removed.
